23rd International Pharos Chamber Music Festival – 24.5-1.6.2024

The International Pharos Chamber Music Festival has earned a distinguished reputation as a premier music event in Europe, celebrated for its exceptional performances, rich and diverse programme, and enchanting setting. By steadfastly upholding standards of artistic excellence, the Pharos Festival has played a pivotal role in introducing chamber music to Cyprus, establishing the island as a significant player on the global cultural scene. Drawing enthusiasts from across the globe, its extraordinary concerts offer a unique and uplifting musical experience that resonates far beyond its borders. For over two decades, the Festival has showcased a diverse array of world-renowned soloists, captivating audiences with unforgettable performances. Additionally, the Festival remains committed to its ethos of community outreach, striving to make chamber music accessible to all and providing invaluable educational opportunities to students throughout Cyprus. Held annually at The Royal Manor House of Kouklia, a remarkable testament to Frankish architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Pharos Festival transforms this historic venue into an atmospheric chamber music hall, and sets the stage for one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the international music calendar.
 
The 23rd International Pharos Chamber Music Festival, which takes place at the Royal Manor House in Kouklia, encompasses seven concerts during the last week of May and first day of June – specifically on 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 31 May & 1 June 2024.  As always, the Festival will offer a stunning array of chamber music repertoire, performed by some of the world’s leading virtuosos. The Festival maintains a core of musicians who return every year, while also welcoming guest soloists who visit our island for the very first time, infusing each concert with a fresh and unique perspective.
 
The Pharos Arts Foundation is proud to announce that all the concerts of the 23rd International Pharos Chamber Music Festival will be recorded by the world’s leading classical music label NAXOS, which is travelling to Cyprus for the first time especially to cover the Festival.
