The “5th Festival of Traditional Dances” is a unique cultural experience for the visitors since they will enjoy on stage unique music and dance perfomancesfrom 5 Cultural groups of different communities, Sri-Lanka, Philippines, Roumania, T/C HASDER and G/C PAOK
The festival is an inspiration of the Cultural Sports Club, PAOK-Klirou, which every time presents different cultural groups, simultaneously projecting social messages for a fair society with respect for diversity.
Five Bands, 100 dancers and musicians will present a unique music and dance program in the outdoor area of PAOK with an emphasis on traditional dance and folk tradition.
At the same time, visitors will have the opportunity to tour the Folk Art workshops which will present traditional professions by experienced Craftsmen as well as they will be able to experience the taste experience of the local wine and food products.
The traditional Kleftiko of the area will be sold in the area as well as other options of food, sweets and drinks.
At the peak of the Festival, the music band “Proskinites” with Panagiotis Anglogallos on the Violin and Theodoulos Papageorgiou will perform a special program based on Cypriot poems and songs encouraging both local and foreigner visitors to experience dancing.
